Adieu to Bernard NIZERY
Bernard NIZERY died on February 12th 2015
Born in 1928, from Polytechnic school, Civil Engineer of Génie Maritime (Naval Architect and Marine Engineer) he began his carrier at Le Havre in the Compagnie Maritime des Chargeurs Réunis. He followed at the aux Ateliers Mazeline des Forges and Chantiers de la Méditerranée, then at I.R.C.N. (Institut de Recherches de la Construction Navale) where he became Technical Director under the authority of Marcel JOURDAIN
He had been very active in our Association, being the Council Secretary from 1979 to 2001; then Treasurer from 2001 to 2007. In 1996/1997, when the association faced a difficult period, he bring an important support to Hervé CHENEAU to refloat it.
