The sea transport shall participate to the green house emission reduction but at the early stage since the conceptual phase. The today answer of speed reduction and low load tuning of the engines shall give path to more radical solutions.

The size increase of the ships, even though limited by the port capacity, is seen in many ship types bring savings and emission reduction plans. The sliming of the hulls, the right propulsion system selection, the waste heat recovery , a revolutionary loading of the goods are amongst others the new path presented here below.
