From the 40th to the 60th, what patrol ship for the austral waters?

In the current global context, more and more attention is paid to the areas of maritime sovereignty which resources are very significant, but which are more or less neglected up to now. Most of the great maritime nations have identified this shortfall and have decided to remedy to it by acquiring an adapted ocean patrol capability. France, which has the second largest EEZ in the world, is obviously concerned and is preparing a modernization of its assets. This text introduces a rustic, affordable and ocean-going ship to meet the specific need of surveillance of the southern EEZ principally in the areas from the fortieth up to the sixtieth parallels.
