The development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles is surely a big challenge nowadays. You will find in this document the context of operational use of UAV on warships, the requirements needed to deck on a naval platform, and the development of an automatic decking system, how it works and what is its performance. Finally, are described some examples of simulation and tests performed needed to finalize such a system, the limits but also the formidable potential of this technology.
