A point of view on future light USV development

After the “aerial” drones, vessels and crafts are subject of interest of prospective, researches and development in order to acquire a first level of autonomy.
In this presentation we shall speak about small crafts that are embarked on board non dedicated navy vessels like frigates.
The maritime environment presents its own characteristics among them we point out the difficulty to establish communication close to the sea surface, the number and the nature of the different obstacles that can be encountered and the lack of general sea surface supervision.
The presentation of the fast autonomous embarkation dedicated to the training of vessels will give the opportunity to draw the technological points to be developed and validated in order to reach operational employments and a good integration within the global environment. So we will be able to encounter a market we have the feeling of its growing.
