Serge BINDEL, ATMA – Paris (France)
Jean-Claude DERN, ATMA – Paris (France)
Jean-Marc QUENEZ, BASSIN D'ESSAIS DES CARENES – Val de Reuil (France)
The paper recalls the history of Bassin d’essais des carènes from the beginning in Paris in 1906, to its settling down in Val-de-Reuil in Normandy and its new life there. It describes the investments, and gives some examples of significant researches and studies carried out during one century. It also reminds us those men whose contribution to its development was so important that Bassin wouldn’t be what it is without them.
