Classification and comfort on board of ships

Most of the Classification Societies are presenting a new mark dealing with noise and vibrations. The author proposes to explain the reasons why editing a new document which searns to be redundant with the existing standards. These marks has to be considered as an additional tool in vibration and noise, but will not substitute the investigation needed by the researcher for solVing a specific problem. As a mark, it shall need maintenance considering the evolution of technique in the concerned fields and to be updated in case of modifications of the classified ship.
