The recent news related to COVID-19 has shown that such an epidemic crisis can have major effects on the availability of forces and their ability to carry out their mission, as was the case on the French Aircraft Carrier Charles de Gaulle or on the Dutch submarine HNLMS Dolfijn. In the context of military vessels, in times of war as in times of peace, it is essential to implement preventive solutions that limit the presence and spread of pathogens on board. However, the definition of such solutions requires a sufficient understanding of pathogens, their modes of transmission and propagation within a military vessel in order to identify the conditions to limit their effect. The purpose of this article is to present the study developed within Naval Group allowing the assessment of vessels epidemic safety.
