The shipyard role in the regulation evolutions

Front the beginning of the shipbuilding, yards have always followed the evolution of the reglementation, either in analysing and anticipating consequences of major failures, or very often in participating to its permanent improvement bringing alI the impact of new technologies or R&D .

But yards are often faced to some difficulty to forecast its evolution and its impact on their relationship with the owner .Moreover some decisions might have an impact on their competition.

The information technology should allow to facilitate transparencies and reactivity to face new initiatives .
