Résistance d'un grand navire double-chine MGB-speed

A systematic series of double-chine, wide-transom hull forms with bottom warp has been developed at the Laboratory for Ship and Marine Hydrodynamics of the National Technical University of Athens. The series intend to be used for the design of large ships and pleasure craft, which operate at high but pre-planing speeds. The series consists offive models with UR = 4.00, 4.75, 5.50, 6.25 and 7.00, each tested at several displacements. The models have been testedfor resistance and seakeeping behaviour

in random seas. Only the resistance data is presented in this paper.
